How to Be More Human on Social Media

The industrial revolution taught us the value of mass production and the dwindling need for human contact. In most places, the local bank teller has given way to an ATM. Call centers are called cost centers. Putting a human face on a company’s products and services is a way to distinguish yourself from competitors and become a leader in your industry. In a new way, human beings are essential for our society.

Being human doesn’t mean that you can’t make mistakes. We’re all human, and human beings are fragile. It’s OK to make a mistake or try harder. Good humans recognize their mistakes and apologize. Creating an artificial social media presence makes you seem less than human. Instead, be more human on your social media profiles by acknowledging your mistakes and engaging in conversations with other people. A too-formal social media presence lacks the human touch and feels too organized.
