The End of Fear – Part 2
If you’re an art lover, you’ve likely heard of The End of Fear, the documentary by Barbara Visser. The film premiered at the CPH:Dox Film Festival in Copenhagen and is playing as the opening night of Panorama Europe 2018 at the Museum of the Moving Image. It explores the notion that art is no longer an evocative force that invokes visceral protest. The documentary also takes a look at the state of the art market today and how consumers respond to it.
Part one ends in Shadyside, a grocery store that serves as the town’s center. In this episode, Kate makes a cocktail to stop Sam’s heart, giving it to Deena so she can bring him back. The Skeleton Man then kills her and Simon is killed by an axe to the dome. The film ends with a dramatic twist. While the Fear family is supposedly long gone, the curse of the town continues to haunt the town.
This book also covers physical exercise. It’s especially important in our time of heightened anxiety due to the coronavirus pandemic.
