The phrase “how to be less human” has been around for quite some time. The phrase was used by George W. Bush to describe Americans who died in Iraq. It wasn’t one of his most popular quotes, and some people wondered whether he really needed to say this at all. But it certainly did make sense. And what’s worse, most people will never admit they have been racially prejudiced. The book explores how the word “less human” influences human behavior.
