What Will the Singularity Feel Like?

What will the Singularity feel like? Will we be able to download our minds into artificial computers, and then be able to go on a virtual vacation right now in the future? Can we upload our memories into digital files so that our kids can create their futures? Or are the developers of these artificially intelligent supercomputers going to make us live inside a giant robot, or even one of those flying things we see on the news all the time?

It might be interesting to try to upload your own mind and have the Singularity happen to you. However, the problem is, life is not computer generated. So you won’t be able to download your brain and have the Singularity happen to you. The developers of these artificial intelligent supercomputers will have to find another way to transfer your mind into an uploaded one, because uploading the brain and having the Singularity happen is simply impossible. We will probably have to wait thousands of years for it to be possible to do this.

When the Singularity happens, when we upload our brains, there will be no more human, alive who knows what the Singularity is, and there will be no more artificial intelligence or humans who are born with artificial intelligence. Our species will have been artificially upgraded. Will we be superior to other species? The question is what will the Singularity feel like? Will we be superior to ourselves, or will we remain like animals who are not meant to be a part of a higher-order thinking species?
