Why Humans Love Music

People love music for a number of reasons, one of which is that it makes us feel good. Some may say that music can make us think, but regardless of this, some will say that the feeling that music can give a person while listening to it is incomparable. The best way to explain this is through an example. Say you are listening to your favorite song, and as you are listening, you are transported into another world where everything makes perfect sense and the world is a very happy place. While you are experiencing all this pleasure, you can probably also be aware that you are having an overall positive effect on yourself and others around you, which gives you the power to love music.

Why Humans Love Music

The reason that humans fall in love with music has been linked to their need for emotional connection, but what is really amazing is that it doesn’t even matter what the emotion behind the music is. One person may fall in love with a certain song because they associate it with certain memories that they have experienced. This does not mean, however, that other people will react to the song the same way. The reason for this, again, is that everyone has an individual response to different songs. Some people will love music that makes them feel happy, while others will find it comforting to the ears.

In fact, the ability to listen to music and not get attached to it is what made music so popular. It makes us feel good when we listen to it, and it also makes us want to listen to it over again. People want to hear new songs, old songs mixed together and anything that makes them happy. Music allows us to escape into a fantasy world and forget about our real world for a little while. This may be why people love music so much, because they let us escape into a world that is both magical and real.
