Imagine a world without fear. What if we did not fear anything? What if fear were just a habit? What if we did not try to avoid danger as much? What if the fear of a large oak tree crashing down on us was as strong as the fear of falling out of a perfectly blue sky?
Fear can be a very strong thing. Often people try to fight it by trying to get away from it, but only if they are really afraid. Some people can handle frightening events much better than others can. For instance, someone who is afraid of thunderstorms might be able to deal with them much better than someone who is afraid of hurricanes.
We all have different types of fears, some of us are more intense and some less intense. For some people the fear of a nuclear explosion is much more intense. What is important is that you understand why you fear what you do. Is it because you are worried about the outcome of your action or is it because you are concerned about the risk involved in it? Once you have analyzed your fears, you will be better equipped to defeat your fears.
