What Will the Singularity Feel Like?

What will the Singularity feel like? It seems like it might be the end of time, or perhaps the beginning of a new era in human evolution. Will we meet our fellow humans, and will they be as intelligent as us? This is the question that I think all will be asking when the Singularity is revealed. It will either fulfill our dreams or prevent us from ever having those dreams.

When we get to that stage, will our superior intellect be enough to create life? Will we have created AI that is as creative as ourselves? Who will we become if the Singularity is here? Will we be like the robots we see in movies? Or like super-intelligent robots with no emotions, no feelings? When will we be so like them?

All these questions will be answered when the Singularity is revealed. But I don’t know when that will be. It feels like it will be sooner than later, but who knows? As Albert Einstein once said “I didn’t know God existed, until I saw him.” I think we all need to pray just a little bit harder for the answers to what will the Singularity feel like.
