Why Do People Experience Fear?

There are two very big questions that have baffled mankind since the beginning of time, and these questions are what causes fear, and why does fear cause so much anxiety in people? I think that it is safe to say that fear is part of what makes us human. It is a survival mechanism which have evolved into a very useful tool for helping us to survive the many dangerous situations that we find ourselves in each day, and it is also a source of frustration as well as fear for those people who cannot handle certain situations that are thrown their way.

Now some people will say that fear is not something that is exclusive to the creatures that are made up of flesh and blood, but this is simply untrue. For example, look at what happens when a wild animal is scared of a cat, or a snake. These animals run from the situation and don’t stay around to be attacked again. Many times they will even try to avoid any contact with the area in which the fear had originated. This is the fear that humans have when they are in certain situations.

So, why humans experience fear and how can fear help us in our daily lives? Well, fear helps us avoid danger by allowing us to act on instinct, rather than reason. We are built on being afraid of dangerous animals, and objects, and so it is only natural that we would be afraid of other people as well. The best solution is to learn how to deal with fear, instead of trying to run away from it. The more that you can control your fear, the better off that you will be.
