How to Be Less Human

One of the things that I have come to think about since I started taking a more conscious role in my life is that it is important for people to realize that they are not the center of the world and that others need not treat them as such. It is important to realize that we do not need to be overly self-absorbed and it is also vital to understand that we do not have to live our lives waiting for someone else to tell us how to be less human. In fact, I would submit to you that in the current times, if we did not learn how to be less human and embrace a much more active role in our own lives, then we would have a difficult time surviving. We would not have the freedom to do all the things that we are able to do and would not truly enjoy the good and positive changes that occur in our lives each and every day.

The truth is that we all need to stop trying to measure up to the way we think other people do and instead start striving to become more like them. This does not mean that we have to become something that we are not, it just means that we need to find ways to become more like them. And this means that we need to become more proactive and try to understand what causes us to doubt and fear. This can lead us to being open to new information and learn from our mistakes rather than holding onto them tightly. It will also help to create a safe space around ourselves so that we can learn to trust more readily without feeling threatened by the world around us.

We can become less human by learning to be resolute in our resolve to become all that we can be. Being resolute does not mean that we ignore our weaknesses or our foibles, but it does mean that we work to overcome those flaws and work to become the best human that we can. After all, isn’t that the true meaning of being human? Isn’t that what separates the great men from the merely human?
